How We Price Our Puppies

Clear. Honest. Straightforward.

 We have recently adjusted the pricing on our website to reflect the rising costs associated with responsible breeding, including veterinary care, surgical procedures, whelping supplies, and the extensive care required to safely raise each litter. With smaller litter sizes and continued high demand for our puppies, these adjustments allow us to maintain the standards of care that define House of Payne English Bulldogs.


Our current reservation waitlist is 6+ months, and our puppies are typically reserved before a litter is even on the way. We do not offer puppies for sale to the general public. Our puppies are placed exclusively with approved families who have completed our interview process and secured their position on our waitlist with a deposit.

We regularly hear from families who have followed our program for over a year, waiting for a puppy to become publicly available. The reality is that our puppies rarely, if ever, make it beyond our reservation list.


If you are serious about welcoming a House of Payne puppy into your family, we strongly encourage you to begin the reservation process well in advance. Joining our waitlist is the best way to secure your opportunity to select a puppy from a future litter. While we cannot guarantee a specific timeline, sex, or color, approved families receive priority selection in the order their deposits are received.


Puppy Pricing


At House of Payne English Bulldogs, we believe in transparency. Our pricing structure is based on real, measurable factors that impact the cost of breeding and raising healthy English Bulldog puppies. Each puppy is evaluated individually, and pricing reflects specific traits, lineage, and market demand.


Price Range – $5,500 to $6,500

All of our puppies start at a base price of $5,500.00 USD, which includes:


  • Veterinary health checks
  • Core vaccinations and deworming
  • Health guarantee
  • Starter supplies and welcome kit
  • Lifetime breeder support


Beyond the Base Price

Not all puppies are priced the same. Certain attributes result in additional cost:

  • Lineage & Pedigree
  • Puppies from bloodlines that include AKC champions or strong pedigrees may have an added cost. This reflects the planning and selection involved in producing structured, well-documented litters.
  • Rare Color or Markings
  • We do not breed for color. Our focus is on health, structure, and temperament. That said, our bloodlines naturally carry rare colors including merle, blue, and lilac, which are consistently present in our litters. When these colors or unique patterns are expressed, they are priced higher due to rarity and ongoing market demand. Pricing reflects current value, not preference or breeding intent.
  • Breeder’s Choice (Varies)
  • On occasion, a puppy may be priced outside the usual range based on specific traits or characteristics that set it apart from the rest of the litter. These are evaluated individually.
  • Breeding Rights (+$3,000 – Subject to Approval)

All puppies are sold as pet-only by default, with a strict spay/neuter agreement. Buyers seeking breeding rights must request them in advance and be approved by us. Approval is not guaranteed and is based on experience, breeding program ethics, and alignment with our standards for health, care, and responsible ownership. If approved, the cost of breeding rights is an additional $3,000 on top of the final purchase price. Puppies sold with breeding rights will receive full AKC registration; all others will be sold with limited registration.


Important Considerations

Prices are determined after a litter is born and evaluated. Because we cannot predict coat colors, markings, or how traits will express until after birth, we do not guarantee what price ranges will be available in any given litter. Puppies are offered in waitlist order. If no puppy is a fit when it’s your turn, your place carries forward to the next available litter (within the timeframe outlined in our contract).
